Clinical Trials

This is an exciting time for research into Graves' disease, thyroid eye disease, thyroid nodules, and autoimmunity, with experts from all over the world searching for new treatment options that will prove to be both safe and effective. If you are you interested in participating in a clinical trial, but are unsure how the process works, this page from clinicaltrials.gov will get you up to speed! The Graves' Disease & Thyroid Foundation is working to compile a listing of clinical trials (see below) that will be relevant to our community. For a more robust search option, please visit the clinicaltrials.gov home page to search by keyword(s). Ultimately, the decision to participate in a clinical trial should be made by you and your doctor after careful consideration of your personal medical history, the participant criteria for the study (for example, age, time since diagnosis, and prior treatment options attempted), the potential risks and benefits of the investigational medication, and the required time/travel commitment.

Trial Listing (Note: GDATF Does Not Endorse Individual Sponsors/Studies)

This listing was launched on 1/29/24 and will be more fully built out as we gather additional information. If you are a sponsor or investigator of a study currently listed on clinicaltrials.gov and GDATF has not already reached out to you, please email info@gdatf.org with subject line CLINICAL TRIALS. Please provide the NCT/Clinicaltrials.gov ID, a short bio of the principal investigator(s), and a short bio of your organization.
